The Most Energy Efficient Light Bed. The biggest misconception in photobiomodulation is that higher wattage means a better light bed. It doesn't.
Higher power consumption usually indicates lower quality LEDs and less efficient electronics, requiring more electricity to produce the same therapeutic irradiance.
Our MultiZone platform uses premium LEDs and advanced power management to deliver exceptional irradiance while consuming significantly less power.
What is IPW?
IPW (Irradiance Per Watt) measures how efficiently a light bed converts electricity into therapeutic light.
Formula: IPW = Electrical Power (Watts) Ć· Irradiance (mW/cmĀ²)
The rule is simple: the lower the IPW, the higher the quality. A lower IPW indicates premium LEDs, longer component life, advanced power management, less wasted heat, greater efficiency, and lower operating costs.
Conversely, a higher IPW means more electrical power is required to achieve the same irradiance, typically reflecting lower quality components and a less efficient system.
